Councilman Dr. Benjamin (Benny) M. White is a retired Lieutenant Colonel who honorably served 22 years in the United States Army as a Field Artillery Officer. Throughout his military career, he led and mentored soldiers, demonstrating strong leadership and dedication to service. He retired from active duty in 2008.

Professor of Military Science at Wheaton College
Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) program at Joliet West High School where he continues to shape future leaders
Serving as a mentor and volunteer in Naperville and surrounding communities

Family & Community Roots

Benny and his wife, Kim, have called Naperville home since 2005. They are proud parents of two adult children and remain deeply connected to the Naperville community.

A former college football player and passionate sports fan, Benny enjoys cheering on his alma mater, West Point, and his hometown team, the Kansas City Chiefs.
